Marie Segger

Hey. I'm Marie.

I'm a data journalist at The Economist in London.

I write about a broad variety of topics, but often focus on (gender) inequality, Gen Z and millennials.

I'm originally from Germany and have lived, studied and worked in both the UK and Germany. I hold an MSc from Goldsmiths College, University of London and a BA from the University of Muenster, Germany.

I often talk at international conferences and give guest lectures about my passions: data journalism, equality and digital storytelling.

If you want to get in touch about a speaking opportunity, please consider reaching me on my work email (mariesegger{at}economist.com), if you want to contact me for other reasons: click on Contact.

Please note, I can only commit to a limited number of speaking gigs each year, so I appreciate if you reach out to me well in advance of the event. I'm not available for free consulting.
